Site of the 1972 Olympics

With a second chance to host the Olympics, after the 1936 games under the Nazi regime, the West German government was determined to create a new image calling the events “the Happy Games”. But the Summer Olympics of 1972, witnessed worldwide, were darkened by the Munich Massacre in which 11 Israeli athletes and coaches, as well as a West German police officer were slain by terrorists. Taking a tour with Chris through the astounding Olympic Park, you will hear amazing stories of the games, the tragedy and the significance they have had on the city and country. But always be skeptical, as he will include one false story. Do some studying because If you guess which it is, you’ll get the tour free.
