During the summers in Munich you can have a one-of-a-kind movie viewing experience. A giant 300-square-foot screen is set up on the Royal Square and blockbuster movies are screened while movie lovers get comfortable with blankets and pillows. There are also food and drink stands set up so that no one goes without snacks during the movie. Last summer some of the movies screened were the French movie “The Intouchables” and Marvel’s “The Avengers.” All movies are shown in German.
