Locals come to this tiny Italian hole-in-the-wall, just off of Viktualienmarkt, for the best pizza in town. The menu is small but covers all the Italian bases: pasta, salads, and wood-fired pizza. If you can’t decide, try a pizza with red onions, gorgonzola, and rosemary, or the simple-but-classic pizza margherita. Grano’s staff, while occasionally friendly, does its best to emulate the brusque service that you’d find in Rome. There are only a few tables, so be sure to call ahead before you stop in.
