Dukatz offers its guests a unique experience in the Munich café scene: while it is very much a café and serves some of the best coffee around, it's also a fantastic restaurant that serves some classic Bavarian dishes. While the theme of the restaurant pays homage to the author Jenny Holzer (and, by proxy, the publishing and literary past of Munich), it also provides a unique atmosphere where guests can either slip in for a coffee (accompanied by their French-style baked goods) or stay for a while and enjoy some of their delectably-prepared cuisine. Or, you can move from one to the other—and back again. Whichever side of Dukatz you sample, the coffee, cuisine, and literary culture are surely going to add a memorable facet to your Munich trip plan.
