The Deutsches Theatermuseum, or German Theater Museum, preserves the rich theatrical history of Munich. The large collections display objects that have influenced or been featured in German theater. Their photograph collection is the museum's largest exhibit and one of the largest in the world. It holds almost 500,000 autographs and 4.3 million photos as well as about a quarter million graphic works such as stage settings. The museum features one permanent exhibit and many rotating exhibits. The German Theater Museum also lists all current theatrical performances in Munich.
