This is a true Munich establishment, dating all the way back to 1901—although its offerings have changed slightly since those days. From simple tea and to opulent oysters, a full-blown gourmet restaurant has taken shape and continues to satisfy bot local and visiting customers. The menu is rich and very Bavarian but not overwhelming; the lobster is delectable, the venison cooked perfectly, and the white truffles added to several dishes make for a truly succulent meal. Entrees aren’t cheap, but if you call before your reservation and order the “Action” menu, you’ll get a five course meal with wine pairings for a great deal.
