This unique museum is dedicated to mountaineering. A fascinating and educational place, the museum is home to an exhibit that features a range of topics including alpine flora and fauna, mountain tips, pictures of the Alps, and even an exhibit for Heidi. Guided tours are offered for amateurs and experienced mountaineers. Opened in 1911 the museum was destroyed in WWII and not rebuilt until 1996.
