Originally built for royalty, the Meierei Potsdam provides diners with traditional German cuisine, locally brewed beer, and a view worthy of an emperor. Used by the kings, later emperors, of Prussia, the Meierei encompasses a luxury hotel and the gasthausbrauerei. Overlooking the Jungfernsee and located next to the Cecilienhof, the site of the Potsdam conference, the main draw of this restaurant is the view overlooking the water and boats. However, the restaurant also has excellent food including their bratwurst and wide selection of local, hand-crafted, beer.
