German street food at its best, Konnopke's Imbiss knows how to serve up a sausage. This isn’t your average NYC hot dog; this is the hot dog done their own super-secret, handed-down-from-generations way (well, the ingredients are a secret, at least): smothered in curry ketchup with a healthy coating of yellow curry to top it off. This is currywurst, and if there were a battle for the king of currywurst, there's a good chace Konnopke's Imbiss would come darn near the top. And even better news: if you're feeling something a little less curried and a little more traditional, then you're in luck; they also serve a mean bratwurst and other traditional sausages (including the spicy feurerbockwurst).
