A Belly Full of Food

Serving traditional Turkish cuisine since 1964, the Istanbul is best known for it’s meat dishes such as the Hünkar begendi (veal stew with eggplant puree) and the Amavut cigeri (fried liver). For those who just can't seem to make up their mind, the Karisik Izgara is a mixed grill with selected house specialties that are sure invigorate your taste buds. If you come on a weekend be prepared to see some skin as the restaurant offers belly dancing as part of the dining experience. Don't worry, they won't make you part of the show.
