The Führerbunker was the air-raid shelter where Adolf Hitler spent the last weeks of World War II. He married Eva Braun here in April 1945, and a week later the pair romantically offed themselves together as the Allies closed in. After the Wall fell, the unified government demolished the bunker complex, but you can go visit the scenic parking lot that now stands in its place. The site is deliberately understated to prevent neo-Nazi shrines from showing up. Read the educational sign, or skip this spot entirely.
