The Berlin Musical Instrument Museum holds an impressive and interesting collection of over 3,500 different musical instruments. The instruments span all the way from the 16th century to the present day making this collection extensive and impressive to any musician or music enthusiast. Some of the more well known instruments on display are a portable harpsichord once owned by Prussia’s Queen Sophie Charlotte, flutes from the collection of Frederick the Great, and Benjamin Franklin’s glass harmonica.
