It is true that Central European food is not often thought of as overly exciting or exotic cuisine; however, this well-established Berlin restaurant seems to have gotten the formula down and has been popular among locals for years. Enormous plates of schnitzel and goulash are constantly being churned out of the kitchen, and the alpine decor with antlers and hunting memorobilia all over the walls perfectly complete the atmosphere of Austria. Though the prices are slightly higher than some other Berlin restaurants, so are the portions, and we definitely recommend sharing entrees for light eaters.
