If you’ve come to Paris to live out your fantasy of chain-smoking while eating a baguette, Vintage Désir is the place to find the needed striped sailor shirt and beret. The windows of the skinny, wooden façade are filled with handbags and patterned jackets all of which were previously owned by now-vintage French people. The prices are reasonable and the selection colorful. It’s a bit cramped with patrons on weekends, but bargain Parisian fashion is worth a little discomfort.
