The open kitchen gives this relatively new restaurant the feeling that you’ve hired a personal chef. While your own kitchen probably isn’t this nice, Chef Daniel Rose makes guests feel at home with his warm personality. The food is also worthy of praise. A Chicago native, Rose sticks to down-home basics, adding a French twist: goose-fat freedom fries and lobster sandwiches, as a start. The prixe fixe dinner menu combines the chef’s palette with the market’s offerings. Did we mention Woody Allen recommends this place?
