A unique open-air dance hall, or guinguette, built in 1867, Rosa Bonheur provides a much desired escape from the sprawling streets of Paris. The tavern is located within the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, a breathtaking public garden in the 19th arrondissement. The five co-owners opened Rosa Bonheur in 2008, offering a relaxed environment that brings music, dancing, and nature together in wonderful harmony. Named after the renowned 19th century female painter, Rosa Bonheur is linked with the rich history of the Parc des Buttes Chaumont and the artist’s progressivism.
