Historic Bistro

This quintessential Parisian bistro, located just a block from l’Odéon, is as history-laden as it is tasty. Inside the cozy 150-year-old restaurant, you’ll find classic brasserie-style meals like steak-frites, braised pork cheek, and boeuf bourgignon. Americans have flocked to Le Polidor after it was featured as Ernest Hemingway’s favorite hangout—he, Victor Hugo, and other writers really did frequent this spot back in the day—in Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris. Service has reportedly suffered.
