French-Canadian Meets Just Plain French

Reed is a tiny little restaurant with an open kitchen, in which head chef and owner Catherine Reed is often known to give lessons while preparing an evening's meal. It's mostly a standard French menu, but with influences sprinkled in from both Italy and from Reed's native Canada.

Seasonal ingredients are a major focus here, so the menu rotates often. If you're interested in the cooking class, it takes place on Wednesday evenings, but there's room for only a few so you'll definitely want to make prior arrangements with the owner.
