When Life's a Beach…

Every summer for a month the square in front of city hall is taken over by sunbathers and beach-goers. As one of the locations for a Paris Plage, or man-made beach, the area is transformed with sand, floating pools, live music, cafés, and other leisurely devices. The public event offers unique summer activities within the city of Paris, providing a great opportunity for rest and relaxation. Paris Plagues are very popular, so make sure to snag a beach chair shaded by a palm tree early, because the area will get crowded. This is a great place for families with all the activities available.
