Sure to Leave a Good Impression

The Musée Marmottan Monet holds the largest collection of Claude Monet’s works in the world along with holding collections of hundreds of works by many other Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artist. Other artists that you can expect to see here include Degas, Manet, Pissarro, Renoir and more. Originally the museum held a collection of Napoleonic era art and furniture as well as Italian and Flemish primitive paintings. However, the museum received a large collection of impressionist artwork and the focus of the museum shifted (though the original collections still remain). For any fan of the Impressionist era, this museum is a must see on your Paris trip plan.
