A Rebel Commemorated

Ever curious what it would be like to be a rebel fighter? This little know museum was opened in 1994 to commemorate Jean Moulin, a major figure in the French Resistance, and the occupation of Paris during World War II. Although Moulin would die for his resistance, his legacy continues on in this Museum where visitors can experience what life was like under the Nazi occupation. The adjoining museum, the Mémorial du maréchal Leclerc de Hauteclocque et de la Libération de Paris, commemorates Maréchal Philippe Leclerc de Hauteclocque and the liberation of Paris.
