Elegance Everywhere

Musée Jacquemart-André was created from the private home of Édouard André and Nélie Jacquemart to display the art they collected during their lives, including one of the finest collections of Italian art in France. The museum is divided into five major parts: The State Apartments, which display the French school of painting and 18th century decorative art; The Informal Apartments, showing a refined style and testifying to Édouard and Nélie’s talent as collectors; The Winter Garden, demonstrating the artistic skill of the architect Henri Parent; The Italian Museum, which holds 15th and 16th century Italian sculptures, religious themed art, and Italian paintings from the Florentine and Venetian schools; and The Private Apartments, looking inside the lives of Édouard and Nélie.
