Detailing the history of flight, from hot air balloons to space travel, the air and space museum is filled with exhibitions on aircraft from across history. Being one of the oldest air and space museums, the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace contains an extensive collection on permanent display including over 150 aircraft including several Concordes, Boeing 747, and rockets. Entrance to the museum is free (however, entrance aboard the aircrafts is not) providing an inexpensive day trip for the family.
