As a place of preservation of the history of mail in France, The Musée de La Poste, opened in 1946, spans 1,200 sq yards and is home to a wide variety of collector's items. Here you can find first post's road maps, mailmen's uniforms, 160 years of stamps, an enormous collection of mail artwork, and even an old stagecoach. Visit the recently added ninth room to learn about the current post offices, or view "Le Kid" exhibit to understand his role in French culture.
