In a place of Honoré

The Maison de Balzac is a house museum in the former residence of French novelist Honoré de Balzac, most famous for his magnum opus, La Comédie humaine. The writer's mementos, manuscripts, original editions, artwork, and other belongings are all showcased in his home. Guided and independent tours are offered at a small price, though general admission to the house is free unless temporary exhibitions are being on viewing.
