The Thrill of the Race

This is the perfect spot to spend an afternoon among average Parisians enjoying one of Paris' favorite pastimes: horse racing. Built in the mid-1800's, the Longchamp Racecourse has been a mixing spot for all Parisians, rich and poor, young and old, all coming down to the racetrack to enjoy the thrilling events of the day. It's also home to the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, one of the most prestigious races in Europe. Be sure to check the calendar, as the time of races changes frequently, sometimes even a couple of days ahead of time.
