Like any restaurant named after a famous philosopher should be, Le Rousseau is a thoughtful and inspired brasserie. It’s typical of what you’d expect for a true French restaurant, yet there is something about it that seems to make it stand out a bit from the rest. Maybe it’s the French staff, who genuinely don’t mind conversing in English, or perhaps the inspired menu, that keeps bringing people back. This might be a good place to get up the gusto to finally try escargot, but the classic Andouille is delicious, as well as the fromage blanc on the dessert menu.
