Le Grand Méricourt was born when Chef Alexis Jordan met former cosmetic industry marketing director Christelle Ly in the kitchen of the Plaza Athénée. Together, they opened Le Grand Méricourt in 2008 and just recently remodeled the space, so there is definitely a young, contemporary vibe to this restaurant. Funky dishes like the chicken cappuccino starter line the menu top to bottom. It is a shot glass filled with chicken cream and topped with a dollop of creme fraise, all of which are brought together with crunchy, buttery croutons.
