This little bistro on the Left Bank has recently been renovated and reimagined with more of an emphasis on the food and less of an emphasis on the wine. It also has a somewhat more modern look and interior, though in keeping with the Paris emphasis on tradition, not too much has been changed.
Offerings rotate regularly, and there is no menu per se other than a board with some of the daily specials posted outside. But the food is consistently very good and the portions filling, and the new owners have retained much of the warmth and sociability that made the original version a neighborhood institution in the first place.
