Falafel For Days

How can you tell if a restaurant is good? Well, if there’s a line outside of it and that line stretches down the block to where you can no longer see the end of it, then people probably enjoy eating there. The modestly titled L’ As ('the ace') is widely regarded among tourists and locals alike as the premier falafel stand on the Rue des Rosiers. If you can, grab a seat in one of the two chaotic dining rooms or just take your culinary booty to go. Your falafel sandwich or shawarma (grilled lamb or chicken skewers) will go down even better with lemonade.
