Celebration of Freedom

Celebrating the day that the French people stormed the Bastille in 1789 sparking the French Revolution, Bastille Day is a day of celebration all throughout France (and in many other countries around the world as well). The largest celebration is, by no surprise, in Paris. The day is kicked off by a massive military parade running down the Champs Élysées. The parade features an exorbitant spectacle of tanks, soldiers, jets, a re-enactment of the storming of the Bastille, public dances, and more. This parade is the largest and oldest military parade in all of Europe and not to be missed if you are in Paris on this day of national celebration.
