A Secluded Beach

About 6 miles west of Nice and located close to Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, Saint Laurent du Var is a city of character. You can easily take a bus (from gare routière du Paillon on Avenue Felix Faure) or the SNCF train (downtown Nice) to Saint Laurent du Var. The town was developed in the 11th century and is now the second largest suburb of Nice. Over the past decade it has greatly gained popularity because of the new establishment of CAP 3000, the Côte d'Azur's biggest shopping mall, which has 140 shops. Visitors of the town also enjoy strolling around and admiring the narrow medieval streets and window shopping as they walk past the boutiques.
