A Glimpse into the Past

Located in Old Town, this palace, built in the 17th century was the home of the Lascaris de Vintimille family until 1802. This Italian baroque palace contains numerous paintings, sculptures, and furniture from the 17th and 18th centuries. Inside frescoes adorn the ceiling above, and the floors still have some of the 18th century panels and plaster embellishments. The palace was bought and restored by the city of Nice in the mid 20th century and is now a historical monument that houses a vast collection of antique instruments.
