Formerly known as the Palace of the Dukes of Savoy from the early 17th century, this historical monument has been renovated and transformed into a government building since the 19th century. Although the old town’s essential landmark, the establishment is not open to the public. Right in front of the main entrance on the Pierre Gutier Square however, there is a famous flower market. The market is open every morning except for Mondays and certain holidays. You can find fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers here. If you are a morning person, check out the market before you head out for your full day of adventures.
