This small opera house is a historical monument that dates back all the way to 1776. The original wooden theater was purchased by the city of Nice in 1826 and converted into an Italian style opera house. However, the theater burnt down and was rebuilt in 1885. The current building has undergone extensive restoration to return it to its original elegance, and hosts operas, ballets, and classical music concerts perfect for the avid theater goer or anyone who just wants to try something new.
