Known for owning one of the most important works of the Bréa brothers, renown painters of the late 15th century, the convent is also the final resting place for Henri Matisse and Raoul Dufy—not to name drop, or anything.
Visit the Musée Franciscain to see art from the 15th to the 18th century on display—but not before you marvel at 17th century frescos on the exterior (and for that matter, the marvelous facade). And don't forget to check out the gardens on the convent grounds, where you'll be able to enjoy the sutnning view of Nice and the Mediterranean.
