In association with the Luomus Finnish Museum of Natural History and the University of Helsinki, the Kaisaniemi Botanic Garden offers a verdant oasis to residents and visitors alike.

Here you find free-access gardens and exceptional glass greenhouses that may be entered for a small admission price. At the time of this writing, the free gardens are open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you wish to spend a pleasant hour or two eating ice cream and wandering meandering garden paths, be sure to add a visit to Kaisaniemi Botanic Garden to your Finnish travel itinerary.
