Sadly the travel bookstore he ran does not exist, but the market that it was in is real. Portobello Market is a huge, sprawling market that runs over a mile, the best days to go is the weekend when all the stalls are open for business. Find an antique treasure to bring home, a copy of Banksy’s famous street art, or sample some of London’s freshest vegetables and produce. Much like Portobello Market, Notting Hill in general is a diverse place to shop. From designer shops like Aime to stores like Honest Jons Records. Notting Hill has a little of everything, so make sure to stop by this amazing borough.
