Since first opening in 1939, Geales Restaurant has been a neighborhood favorite among Notting Hill locals for serving quality fish and chips for over 70 years. Since a minor facelift in May of 2007 Geales has changed slightly, but has retained the all-important British chip-shop mentality: fresh fish, no frills, and fabulous service. Reasonable prices, good wines, and a cheerful atmosphere all contribute to the success of Geales. More than only fish and chips, Geales serves lobster, sea bass, and other seasonal fish from all over the UK. If you can't decide on one thing, then go for the platter, which is made up of lobster, prawns, mussels, and squid.
