Military History in One Museum

If you enjoy military museums, the Tøjhusmuseet is a must, but even if the idea of looking at a bunch of guns doesn't excite you, give it a try. Yes, the displays of cannons (second to none in Northern Europe), small arms, swords, medieval armor and artifacts from Denmark's role during the Second World War will gladden the heart of any military buff, but it may almost certainly take in even the casual tourist. The pride and strength of Denmark, a small nation in a large continent during so many trouble centuries, is an important theme throughout its displays. Centrally located and free admission, too.
