Mail and Telegraph Service in Denmark

Before instant messaging and e-mail, it was the postal and telegraph services that kept people connected. The Post & Tele Museum shows the history of these vitally important means of communication, from the mid-19th century to the present day.

The museum not only includes exhibitions of mail coaches, early telegraph and telephone equipment and even modern computer communications technology. They also house the nation's largest collection of Danish postage stamps, an homage to another forlorn form of communication. It's a fascinating look back into the future of the past.
