The Glyptotek is a fabulous art gallery housing more than 10,000 artworks with treasures ranging from classical Greek, Egyptian and Roman sculpture to impressionist and post-impressionist French paintings and works from the early 19th century Danish Golden Age of painting. It has a strong collection of Rodin sculptures—the best outside France. The building itself, near the Tivoli gardens, is noted for its harmonious synthesis of styles, making the experience of visiting an aesthetic experience in itself. There are lovely gardens, including a winter garden.
