One of the most historically significant gardens surrounding the Prague Castle, the Royal Garden was used by the royals as a peaceful place to relax and play games. Originally a Renaissance garden, it was reconstructed in Baroque manner. Currently it is a lovely place to stroll around and see the sculptures and fountains. The garden is open to the general public most of the year excluding wintertime. If you visit in the spring, you will get to see the beautiful tulips in full blossom.
