Prague is a fairly small city, and chances are you’ll be staying within 5 minutes of this gorgeous square, so prepare to get to know it well during your stay. However, don’t just walk through it on your way to other attractions; there are lots of things to stop and see here, including the colorful Astronomical Clock and the beautiful Gothic Tyn Church. You can definitely appreciate the beauty of the juxtaposition of so many different architecture styles in one place, something Prague is famous for. There are a number of other things to discover in this 800 year old square, and we’ll leave that to you. One suggestion, though, go shopping elsewhere. Shops just off the square are expensive and inauthentic (the Starbucks serves drinks that cost twice the normal price).
