The Naprstek Museum is part of the Prague National Museum and focuses on Asian, African, American, Australian and Oceanic cultures. Built in the mid-1800s, this collections includes 95,000 items such as coins, photographs, art, textiles, and paintings. The museum was originally supposed to inspire Czech industry and manufacturing, yet soon became a center for intellectuals to share the stories of their expeditions and display artifacts from their travels.
