This fully restored historic castle makes for an excellent day trip. The castle is located 30 minutes outside of Prague, and it can be reached by taking a 50 CZK round-trip train. It features 3 main buildings: a palace, and two towers. Guided tours in both English and Czech begin every 30 minutes. Afterwards, there are a good amount of restaurants and pubs along the road back to the station if you are in need of some refreshment. This historic medieval castle is a very popular destination for tourists hoping to see more of Prague's historic past. While the castles interior is interesting and beautifully restored, take your time viewing the gorgeous exterior set in a rural part of the Czech Republic.
