If you aren’t familiar with this name, Franz Kafka was a famous Czech literary figure throughout the 20th century. While most of his works were unfinished when he passed away in 1924, his ideas and writing style have influenced many writers since. He was, however, a troubled soul, and this museum does a great job of creating an ambience reflective of his often depressed personality. While not the most uplifting of museums, it is a cool place to check out off the beaten path, as you’ll likely find it very informative and interesting.
