The mangrove swamp that grows all round this beach is great for bird-spotting, but it does make the water rather murky, and less than a perfect spot for snorkeling. It's a broad expanse of beach though, boasting scattered palm trees, and on some days, few crowds.
There's a bar and restrooms, and a decent waterfront restaurant. You can sometimes charter a boat from the owner, the eccentrically charming Captain Goodlife, to take you out to the Blue Room cave—or even to some of the other beaches that are better for diving.
