While there's a sandy corner at Playa Manzalina on the western side, and there's a cave there too, most of the beach consists of coral rubble. So if you're looking for a dive spot, this could be just what you need.
It's a nice dive site with a drop off of 30-40 degrees, quite near the shore, that's reached by crossing a short stretch of sand.If you dive here, you'll see healthy coral and a variety of sponge life. The site is one of the quieter ones on the island, which may be part of the reason that the coral and sponges thrive so well here.
