As easy on the eye as it is topside, the beach—within easy reach of Lagun—reserves its most sublime rewards for those who don dive gear and venture underwater.
The shelf descends quickly to a great wall studded with mountainous star coral, orange cup coral, and other species. The coral heads tend to be thronged by fish and come decorated with elegant Christmas-tree worms, and wing-flippered sea turtles aren't uncommon sights.
